Here goes.

Hello there, Im Amy. But quite a lot of people tend to call me Flossy, why Flossy? Well, my hair is very big, and very curly.

That’s why her hairs so big, it’s full of secrets”  There’s always room for a Mean Girls quote, I just couldn’t help myself!

Anyway, so yeah lets rewind  back to high school. This is where Flossy started. Back in the day where you could revise for your GCSE’s the night before and still pretty much ace them, where the only thing you had to worry about was who was going to buy you a bottle of Lambrini for the next big house party coming up. One of my friends started calling me Flossy as a nickname and it just catched on I suppose and well now it would just be rude not to include it in all of my social media user names.

A whole lots changed since high school but Flossy has stuck with me. After high school I went on to college and studied Media, English Language and Sociology at A level. I immediately fell in love with Media Studies and it automatically became my favourite subject and is definitely one reason why I chose to do Multimedia Journalism at MMU. However I can’t neglect the first thing that ignited my interest in Journalism; Ugly Betty. Yes, you read that right! It just came across as such a fun, exciting, jam packed job. Fashion journalism is hopefully the route I shall be taking in the future, but who knows, I am the most indecisive person EVER, I could end up joining the circus a couple of years down the line for all I know!

This blog is probably going to be pretty much organised chaos. Expect a lot of fashion posts (hopefully) and then my general thoughts on… stuff. We shall see – enjoy!
